The Celtic K’s are a family band that specializes in a variety of Celtic style music. They perform many traditional Irish, Scottish, and Cape Breton songs and instrumentals. The Celtic K’s are influenced by a number of contemporary artists like Natalie MacMaster, The Corrs, The Cottars, and Enter the Haggis.
The group lives in Marshfield and consists of Joe (Dad) on vocals/keyboards, daughter Katie on fiddle, and son Paul on drums. Joe has been a church organist/choir director for many years. He also sings with the Barbershop group: South Shore Men of Harmony, and the Choral Arts Society. Katie is a classically trained violinist who has performed with the Boston Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Quincy Symphony Orchestra. Paul started playing drums at age 10 and has also studied the Oboe. Recent addition is guitarist Mike Macaby is form Bourne, Ma. The group has been playing live Celtic music for about 6 years.
