Youth Outreach at SSMH
The South Shore Men(tors) of Harmony are committed to supporting South Shore area high school music programs. Chorus members volunteer their time to introduce the wonderful world of barbershop style singing to high school students. For the past few years we have given on-site barbershop music demonstrations at Abington, Duxbury, Braintree, Cohasset, Hanover, Hingham, Marshfield, Norwell, Rockland, Scituate, Silver Lake Regional, and Weymouth high schools. Through our Youth Outreach program we have also provided music and materials to various high school choral programs. We have also conducted after school barbershop training classes to interested high school students.
